Accountant[edit]

The Accountant enables an up-to-date evaluation of your prison and increases the daily spending budget. The Accountant is available to hire when Finance is unlocked in Bureaucracy. Hiring an Accountant allows you to research the Land Expansion, Extra Grant, Bank Loan and Tax Relief programs, and reveals the Finance and Valuation tabs in Reports. The Accountant requires an office to be able to research Bureaucracy. The Accountant is required to finish the Administration Grant.

Chef[edit]

The Chef collects Food deliveries to freeze the food, and cooks and prepares the food for the Prisoners to eat. If there are any leftovers after Eating Time then the Chefs will walk up to it and change it to Trash. If you plan Eating Time too soon to the current time, The Chef will not be able to cook all the food in time, and the Prisoners will go hungry.

Chief[edit]

Maximum Chiefs: 1

The Chief is a Secondary Administrator, He unlocks Deployment, CCTV, dogs and handlers, and also Riot Guards. He also unlocks a UI element 'Danger Levels' this shows how mad your prisoners are and how likely they are to commit Misconduct.

Foreman[edit]

Maximum Foreman: 1 The Foreman is a Secondary Administrator, unlocked through the Bureaucracy interface. After unlocking, the Foreman gives access to Janitor, Groundskeeper, Prison Labor, and the Clone tool.

Doctor[edit]

The Doctor will heal injured Prisoners and Staff by restoring their health to full. They will stay in the nearest Infirmary, if present. However, you can send a doctor to an injured person by selecting the doctor, then right clicking the injured person.

Guard[edit]

The Guard has a navy blue suit and a cap. He is responsible for breaking up Fights. He will escort newly arrived prisoners to Holding Cells or Jail Cells. He can also escort prisoners who took part in Misconduct to Solitary.

After Deployment is researched in the Bureaucracy Menu, Guards can be assigned to player-designated patrols.

Psychologist[edit]

The Psychologist allows you to see Prisoner behavior and have a fair judgment whether they are really the Rank they are in (You can change Prisoner Ranking without a Psychologist). A psychologist allows access to the Needs menu, in the clipboard. This menu shows the prisons attitudes as a whole.

Warden[edit]

Maximum Wardens: 1
The Warden is the Primary Administrator and unlocks Bureaucracy. He is a key part in gameplay for the stated reason.

Bugs:

  • It is possible to spawn more than 1 of any limited staff by pausing the game whist hiring them.
  • If you stack research to be done, your warden may bug out and stop researching overall.
  • The dead warden will walk out of the hearse and to an office.

Workers[edit]

The Worker is a key part of your Prison, performing many tasks needed to efficiently run the prison. They are responsible for building and clearing buildings, via the foundation, materials, and Objects menus. After the Worker has built the structure, and assembles any required items, you can use the room tool to designate the room's purpose. Workers also clear rubble and trash to the closest Garbage Room, and organize unused materials to the Storage Room . The Worker wears a Stereotypical Hi-Visibility Vest and a Shiny Yellow Hardhat They cannot be selected in groups.

Bugs

  • The Worker may occasionally glitch through walls, and sometimes get trapped in sealed off areas that The Worker should not be able to reach. Selecting the worker in question and right clicking away from the wall forces them to walk to target location, and resets their queue.

Emergency Staff[edit]

All of Emergency Staff needs to be called (Every call costs you 100$)

Riot Guards[edit]

Riot Guards in one Riot Van:6
Maximum Number of Riot Vans at one time:3
- Picture needed The Riot Guard is a Guard decked in navy blue suit, riot gear and a helmet with a baton. These officers or Guards are helpful to regain control of areas of the prison overrun with Riots and such misconduct that cannot be handled by the regular guards. Riot Guards will cause a higher risk level with a +11/16 risk when present on the prison grounds, However you may keep the Riot Guards as long as needed.

Firefighters[edit]

Firefighters in one Fire Engine:4
Maximum Number of Fire Engines at one time:2
- Picture needed The Firefighter is a NPC that comes in by a Fire Engine. His job is to put out fire in the Prison. When selected you can use his hose be clicking H. They can be selected in groups and they can wait as long as you want.

Paramedics[edit]

Paramedics in one Amubulance:4
Maximum Number of Ambulances at one time:2
- Picture needed The Paramedic is a Doctor, the only diffrences are Look, You dont need to unlock "Health" via "Bureouancy".

Bugs[edit]

  • The Worker may occasionally glitch through walls, and sometimes get trapped in sealed off areas that The Worker should not be able to reach. Selecting the worker in question and right clicking away from the wall forces them to walk to target location, and resets their queue.
  • Workers do not do any work or complete any task. In the "Jobs" it will say "Queued". This usually happens in the bigger sized maps (Medium or Big) The only solution is to choose small map at the beginning of the game.
